How do you remove the rear seats from a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado?

So removing the rear seats is not complicated but it requires a bit of skill and time. Move the front seats forward to have more space. Then lift the rear seat cushion by pulling it upwards firmly, it should come off. Now move on to the backrest, it is usually fixed with 15mm bolts at the base so you will need a ratchet wrench to unscrew them. After removing them, tilt the backrest slightly forward and remove it from the upper hooks. If you have the version with foldable seats, you may need to remove a few more screws. Once everything is done, lift carefully and you should be finished. If any bolt resists, a bit of lubricant could help. Don't feel comfortable doing it yourself? Contact a specialized workshop.
