How to Replace the Cabin Filter in a Chevrolet Silverado

To replace the cabin filter in a Chevrolet Silverado, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side, removing the compartment from its housing. Once the compartment is removed, access the components at the back by detaching the cover of the filter box and sliding the filter out from its housing. After the old filter is removed, insert the new one, close the box, and reinstall the glove compartment.
