In this article, we will see how to reprogram the remote control for the Chevrolet Malibu. To reprogram the key, first turn the key to ON and then to OFF five times in a row as shown in the tutorial video.

After turning the key five times, leave it in the ON position, press and hold the unlock button and the lock button for 10 seconds, then release the buttons, turn off the ignition, and remove the key. Now, test the remote to see if it works, indicating that the procedure was successful.

This procedure is useful when replacing the remote control battery or the car battery, as the remote may need to be reprogrammed.
