Replacing Rear Brake Shoes on Chevrolet Matiz

In this video, you will learn how to remove the rear drum brake shoes from the Chevrolet Matiz. First, lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheel by taking off the four bolts: remove the nut cover by prying it with a screwdriver (apply some penetrating oil if it doesn't come off) and remove the safety clip that prevents the nut from loosening: simply slide it off with pliers. At this point, unscrew the nut with a socket or star spanner and extract the drum, possibly giving it a few taps on the rear side. Remove the hook, take off the springs, and extract the brake shoes!
