In this video we will see how to replace the mass air flow sensor on Chevrolet Equinox second series. The mass air flow sensor is a sensor positioned on the sleeves that carry the intake air to the engine and measures its flow and speed so that it is then communicated to the control unit which manages its flow into the engine. To replace it, make sure you have purchased the correct part first, you can check the code on the old part. The Mass Air Flow Sensor is located on the main sleeve that reaches the air filter case. Loosen the clamp holding it and disconnect the plug. When replacing, make sure that no dirt or dust gets inside the air hose.
