If the engine oil light on your Chevrolet Impala Mk2 stays on even after you have changed the oil and the filter, you must perform a manual reset. Here’s how to do it. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition of your car. Next, locate the buttons on the right side of the dashboard and press the second one from the top (it has a small car icon on it). Once you see "oil life remaining" on the display, press and hold the "OK" button (with the checkmark symbol) and release it as soon as the reset is complete.
