First of all, make sure you have a flathead screwdriver, preferably small in size, and a new battery (2032 model) on hand. At this point, use the flathead screwdriver to easily remove the back cover of the key, then remove the old button battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, all you have to do is insert the new battery and reassemble the protective cover.
