How to Replace the Battery on a Chrysler 200

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Chrysler 200. The first step is to get inside the vehicle and engage the parking brake. Step two is to open the hood and secure it with the prop rod. Step three is to remove the battery cover and then disconnect the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal to avoid generating dangerous sparks in the vehicle's electrical system. Next, disconnect the positive terminal as well. Once both terminals are removed and away from the battery, use a 10 mm wrench to remove the bolt that secures the battery in the engine compartment. Remove the battery from its location and replace it with the new one.
