Chrysler Pt Cruiser - Video tutorial

Model: Chrysler Pt Cruiser MK 1 - Years 2000-2010
Part: Engine
Operation: Replacing the tappet cover gasket

In order to replace the tappet cover gasket (we mean the camshaft cover) it is first necessary to remove the intake manifold; start by disconnecting the sleeve that goes to the throttle body from the engine air filter box and then disconnecting the inlets and the vacuum tubes from the throttle body itself; then proceed with disassembling the intake manifold, also disconnecting the vacuum sockets and pipes from it without removing the wiring, so that it is sufficient to move it to access the tappet cover; at this point remove the ignition coils, the spark plug cables and extract the pipettes and then unscrew the fixing pins of the cover itself. Before applying the new gasket and proceeding backwards for reassembly, carefully clean the gasket seat.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
