Instructions for Removing the Ignition Coil

Model: Chrysler Pt Cruiser MK 1 - Years 2000-2010

The ignition coil is located just under the intake manifold, and to remove it, you must first remove the manifold itself: start by disconnecting the hose that connects the throttle body to the air filter box; then disconnect the connectors, cable grommets, and vacuum tubes connected to the intake manifold, followed by unscrewing the rear fixing bolts and the front screws; then lift the intake manifold, protect the intake ports with a clean cloth to prevent debris from entering, and complete the removal of the coil by first disconnecting the spark plug cables and then unscrewing the respective fixing bolts.
