Replacement of Front Shock Absorbers

Model: Chrysler 300c MK 1 - Years 2004-2011

Lift the vehicle on a ramp. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Unscrew and extract the retaining pins of the arm from the suspension with a 16mm spanner and push them out. Use penetrating spray to facilitate the operation. Also disconnect the steering tie rod. Using a fixed spanner and a ratchet, remove the bolts from the suspension and detach the shock absorber. Unscrew the three bolts at the top of the suspension, and perform the same operation on the other shock absorber. Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any deposits with a wire brush. Using the appropriate equipment, compress the spring to allow the removal of the worn shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot. Refit the suspension to the vehicle in reverse order.
