How to Reset the ECU on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Cars

Today, you will learn a simple yet clever trick to reset the car's ECU at no cost. Switch off the car, engage the handbrake, and remove the ignition key. Then, disconnect the battery by first unscrewing the negative terminal (never start with the positive) and then the positive terminal. Join the two terminals using a tie wrap or another preferred method, as shown in the video. Disconnect the various connectors from the ECU if you wish to replace it; otherwise, stop here and leave the car as it is, with the battery terminals connected to each other. After a few hours, return to work on the car by correctly reconnecting the battery, screwing the two terminals back into place.
