To replace the tailgate motor on a Citroën C8, loosen the screws that secure the panel located on the side of the boot corresponding to the tailgate. Once this panel has been completely removed, you will be able to locate the underlying motor.

This can now be detached from its housing by loosening the corresponding screws and disconnecting the appropriate cables; once the motor is freed, insert the new one, securing it properly and checking its operation.
