In order to replace the motor of the sliding tailgate on the Citroën C8, you need to loosen the screws that secure the panel located on the side of the trunk corresponding to the tailgate: once this panel has been completely detached, it will be possible to locate the motor underneath. The motor can now be detached from its housing by loosening the corresponding screws and disconnecting the appropriate cables; once the motor is freed, the new one can be inserted, securely fastened, and its operation verified.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
