How do you replace the gear shift knob in the Citroen C3?

As strange as it may seem, even the gear shift knob of a car's manual transmission wears out over time, even to the point of breaking, as shown in the video above. Replacing it is not a complicated job at all, as it is a component that is simply snapped into place. We just need to detach the cover of the lever, then grab it with our hands, or if we can't do it with wide-beaked pliers, and pull the knob upwards with force. Installing the new knob involves the reverse process, placing it on the aforementioned lever and pushing it down.
