How to replace the camshaft regulator on a Citroen C3 MK1

In this video, we will see how to restore the functionality of the camshaft regulator on a Citroen C3 MK1: this component, also known as the camshaft control valve, is a crucial element of the variable valve timing (VVT) system, controlling the flow of oil to the camshaft actuator. We lift the car, then clean the tensioner support and remove the belt and tensioner pulley. We install the new parts following the initial diagram and tension the belt well on all pulleys; we tighten the belt well with a torque wrench, tightening it to 19 Nm, then let the engine run for a few minutes to allow the belt to settle.
