How to change the discs and pads of the Citroen C3

With the wheel removed, work begins on the caliper of the Citroen C3: the fastenings are released and the caliper is moved just enough to slide the old pads out of their seat. Once the pads are removed, attention turns to the caliper bracket, which is disassembled to allow the disc to be removed. Once the disc is free, the old disc is taken off the hub and the support is prepared so that the new disc can sit correctly without any play or misalignment. The new disc is positioned on the hub and brought into contact, then the caliper bracket is reassembled. At this point, new pads are inserted in the same position as the previous ones, and the caliper is put back in place, securing the fastenings as originally. With the brake section closed, the wheel is reattached and the car is brought back to the ground.
