The steps to independently replace the air filter of a Citroen C1 MK1 are simple and quick. Turn off the car and pull the lever to open the front bonnet to access the air filter box. Lift the four fastening clips of the air box cover to remove it. Remove the air filter and before inserting the new one, clean its compartment of any leaves or debris left inside. Compare the old filter with the new one to ensure they are the same, then insert the new filter, making sure the edge is properly secured. Position the air box cover in its housing and lock the clips. Once completed, close the front bonnet.
