How to Replace the Gear Knob on a Citroën C3

Today, you will learn how to independently replace the gear knob on a Citroën C3. Insert a plastic trim removal tool at the base of the gear gaiter to remove the cover, and using a flat screwdriver, lift the rigid base of the gear gaiter. With scissors, cut the clip located between the knob and the gaiter. Insert the flat screwdriver at the base of the knob to remove the central part; rotate the knob carefully to avoid damaging the mechanism while removing it from its housing. After removing the knob, detach the plastic at the base to insert the new one inside the gaiter. Secure the gaiter to the knob with a clip and reassemble the plastic base.
