How to Change the Air Filter on a Citroën C4 Picasso 1 Diesel

Changing the air filter on a Citroën C4 Picasso 1.6 diesel requires several steps. Open the bonnet and unscrew the two 8 mm screws that secure the brake fluid reservoir, then move it aside. Remove the engine cover. Disconnect the air intake duct: rotate it counterclockwise and remove it with small movements. Also disconnect the second section of the duct and the connector of the mass airflow sensor. Using a Torx T25 key, unscrew the three screws of the filter cover (do not remove them, they stay in place). Remove the cover and the old filter. Clean the compartment and install the new filter, ensuring that the rubber collar is properly positioned. Refit the cover, screws, and ducts. Reconnect the connector and remount the engine cover.
