Instructions for Removing the Instrument Cluster

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012

The first operation to perform is the removal of the plastic trim surrounding the instrument cluster: it is simply clipped in place, so use a plastic spatula to lever it off and remove it. Then unscrew the two Torx screws securing the instrument cluster located on the sides and pull it out from its housing by pulling it forward and disconnecting the connectors attached to it. This is an extremely simple operation but must be carried out with great care to avoid scratching the dashboard and the cluster itself. If the cluster is found to be non-functional, there are many companies specialised in repairs.
