Before you can start, sit in the front passenger seat. Begin by unscrewing the screws that secure the glove compartment to the dashboard, then remove it to access the heating block. Next, disconnect the connector, and then remove the heating fan. This will allow you to access the resistor. To remove it, simply disconnect the connector attached to it and then pull it out. Once you have extracted it, you have successfully completed the disassembly of the heating fan resistor from a Citroen Xsara Picasso.
