How to replace the cabin fan resistor on a Xsara Picasso? Get a screwdriver or a cordless drill, open the glove compartment and unscrew the securing screws around the perimeter with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment and disconnect the power cables. Disconnect the various power connectors, remove the fan regulator from its housing, and insert the new part into its place. Finally, reassemble all the components removed from the glove compartment as they were taken apart earlier.
