How to Remove the Auxiliary Belt of a Citroen Xsara Picasso

Before you can start, you need to lift the front of your Citroen Xsara Picasso. This will give you access to the auxiliary belt. Begin by loosening the tensioner using a 16 mm spanner. Once you have loosened the tensioner, you will also have freed the auxiliary belt. At this point, you can remove the belt by simply pulling it off the respective pulleys. When you have completed this step, you will have successfully disassembled it, and you are free to fit the new auxiliary belt by simply reversing these steps.
