How to Change the Battery in a Citroen Remote Key

Let's see how to change the battery in a Citroen key. Take your remote key and, using a screwdriver, unscrew the tiny screw on the key cover. Once the screw is removed, pry apart the two parts of the plastic key cover with a screwdriver. Remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Fit the new battery, press the plastic parts of the key cover together until you hear a click. Screw the securing screw back into the key. Press the buttons to check the operation.
