To replace the roof cables on a Citroën C3, raise the roof to see the end of the cord and detach it by hand or with pliers from the first interslide. After disconnecting the car battery, you will need to remove the two motors that operate the roof: once you have freed the cords from the pinion, use a screwdriver to lever them out completely.

At this point, you can insert the new cables into their designated housing, first on one side and then the other: once the cables reach the end of their travel, clean them with a cloth to remove grease and debris present in the guides.
