In this short and simple guide, learn how to open the stuck tailgate on the first-generation Citroen C4 from 2005, as well as on most models from the manufacturer. It is possible to open the boot from the inside when the lock malfunctions; therefore, recline the rear seats to gain more access space.

At this point, use a flat screwdriver to press on the locking pin, moving it and thus opening the boot tailgate, as illustrated in the video. Proceed to replace the lock afterwards!
