Start by removing the trim around the gear lever gaiter. Once removed, you can access the two clips securing the gaiter frame, which you will unclip and remove. Then, lift the gaiter to remove the internal plastic clip and take off the gaiter itself. At this point, you can also remove the gear knob. To fit the new knob, simply follow these instructions in reverse. This way, you will have successfully completed the replacement.
