Citroen C3 - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen C3 FN, FC - Years 2002-2009
Part: Battery
Operation: How to replace the battery of a Citroen C3.

In this video we will find out how to replace the battery of a Citroen C3. To begin, we unhook the plastic cover, as shown in minute 1: 15. Now extract the control unit, simply by sliding it upwards. We continue by loosening the negative pole clamp and disconnecting it from the battery. We then do the same with the positive pole (which can be detached without having to unscrew a clamp, but simply by pulling a lever). Now we can extract the battery, levering with a screwdriver to unlock the gasket on the bottom. We clean the terminals and apply some copper grease on the poles of the new battery, which we will now place. First insert the positive pole, then the negative one, tightening the clamp again. At this point we can reinsert the control unit and put the plastic cover back in place and the operation will be finished.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
