Removing the Centre Console on a Citroen C5

How do you remove the centre console on a Citroen C5? Start by removing all the covering plastics and components from above the console. Pry out the ashtray located at the end under the centre dashboard, and remove the leather gaiter and gear knob if you have trouble passing the console. After removing the knob and gaiter, lift the handbrake cover and detach the securing clips at the back of the console. Once done, pull off the covering console and disconnect any power cables. Fit the new piece identical to the one removed earlier. Reattach the knob and gaiter.
