How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Citroen C3?

Replacing a timing belt is a rather complex operation. First, lift the car, remove the front right wheel, take off the inner wheel arch liner, and the entire brake assembly. Then, move to the engine bay and remove the protective covers of the auxiliary belt. An important step before proceeding with the disassembly is to lock the motion of the camshaft pulley and also the crankshaft pulley by inserting a pin into the hole to ensure the engine's timing is maintained after removing the belt. Next, remove the auxiliary belt by loosening the pulley and unscrewing the bolts securing the water pump. At this point, you can take off the old belt and position the new one. After that, it will be necessary to reassemble all components in reverse order.
