The video shows the removal of the torsion bar from the rear suspension axle. The state of oxidation indicates that this vehicle has been driven on snowy roads treated with salt, which has led to rust formation and the subsequent breakage of the bar. This bar is made from a solid steel tube characterised by significant toughness (a feature that allows it to withstand stresses without deforming) and has ends shaped with a millerighe to fit into the respective hubs. To remove the bar, it is first necessary to dismantle the entire rear suspension axle. Once on the ground, proceed by cutting the bar (as it is already damaged) and extracting the pieces from the hubs by striking with a hammer or by removing the hubs and placing them under a press.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
