Instructions for Installing the On-Board Computer

Model: Citroen Xsara MK 1 - Years 1997-2006

Start by removing the trim around the on-board computer display and the car radio by disconnecting the internal temperature sensor; then unscrew the fixing screws of the display (these are Torx type), pull it forward and disconnect the connector at the back. At this point, connect the new on-board computer to the socket and turn on the ignition to check its operation (the first visible indication is the open door warning); to navigate through the on-board computer menu, it is also necessary to install the new light switch control lever, which has the side button: therefore, remove the lower cover of the switch controls, detach the old lever by disconnecting the connector and install the new one, making a small modification to the electrical connection of the connector.
