How to Connect Jump Leads to Start or Charge the Battery on the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso

The battery on the Citroen C4 is flat. How to restart it? The answer is simple; you can use an external jump starter or get help from another vehicle. In both cases, you will need jump leads. Here’s what to do: First, ensure the jump starter has a nominal voltage of 12 V or a capacity at least equal to that of the flat battery. Second, remove the plastic cover from the positive terminal. Connect the positive lead to the flat battery's terminal and then connect the positive terminal of the assisting vehicle's battery. Next, do the same with the negative terminal. Now, start the engine of the assisting vehicle and let it run for a few minutes before attempting to start the flat vehicle. If the engine does not start immediately, wait a few minutes and try again. What if no vehicle can assist us? In that case, use the car's own jump starter battery. The procedure is more or less the same. First, disconnect the battery of the flat vehicle to connect the positive terminal and leave it connected for a few minutes. Once this operation is completed, your car should restart without problems.
