How to Replace the Key Shell of the Citroen C3

Model: Citroen C3 FC, FN - Years 2002-2009

Remove the keyring to avoid any obstructions later. Now, unscrew the small screw located at the back of the remote. Using a lever, gently separate the two halves of the shell through the gap and remove the metal part of the key, leaving the gap empty where it was housed.
Now, insert a flathead screwdriver into this gap where the key was and gently lever it to separate the shell without damaging the internal circuit. Remove the circuit and insert it into the new shell, and your remote will be as good as new.
