Keeping the engine air filter clean is very important to ensure the correct airflow into the engine for creating the combustion mixture with the fuel and to prevent debris from entering the intake and damaging the engine. It is advisable to periodically dust the filter and replace it at every oil change. The engine air filter box is located right next to the battery. Disconnect the intake duct and the vapour recovery pipe, then remove the filter box from its seat to unscrew the fastening screws of the cap and proceed with the filter replacement.
