Citroen C3 Picasso - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen C3 Picasso MK 1 - Years 2008-2017
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: Things to check before buying a used Citroen C3 Picasso

In this video we will see some details to carefully evaluate before buying a used Citroen C3 Picasso: first of all, the manufacturer overestimates the oil change interval, and the timing chain tensioner can fail much faster than the expected 150,000 kilometers: cases where even the chain tends to stretch before this mileage are not rare. The 1.6 turbodiesel engine is very common and appreciated, but it has its weaknesses, such as the lubrication system of the turbine with the filter that blocks the oil supply. On this model, the bulbs must be changed often, but access to the headlights is very convenient. The electronics often have small malfunctions, such as those related to the reverse sensor, or the suspension mounts; on the other hand, many of these repairs are quite inexpensive.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
