Replacing the Key Fob Battery for the Cupra Leon

Today, we will look at how to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Cupra Leon, as well as the Formentor. First, take your key fob and extract the physical key from inside by pressing the small button.

Then, use the gap created to pry off the cover of the fob, accessing the battery compartment as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and reattach the cover with the key!
