How to Disable the Start/Stop System in a Cupra Formentor

On the Cupra Formentor with touch infotainment, you can temporarily disable the Start/Stop from the central display. Turn on the system and go to the main screen of the touchscreen. Tap the 'Vehicle' menu. Within it, enter 'Settings' and then look for the section related to 'Driving Assistance' or 'Driving Functions'. Here you will find the option related to Start/Stop or the Eco system. Select it and disable the option, if available, using the touch command or a virtual switch on the screen. Once the change is confirmed, the system will show an icon or message indicating the deactivation of Start/Stop. From that moment, the engine will not turn off automatically at traffic lights until the vehicle is restarted.
