How to change the remote battery of the Cupra Formentor

In this article, you will learn how to replace the battery of the Cupra Formentor remote. For this operation, you will need a flat screwdriver. First, pry open the unlock button of the emergency key located at the bottom of the remote, remove the emergency key by pulling it outwards. After removing the emergency key, use the screwdriver to pry along the edges of the plastic cover where the logo is located. Once the edge is lifted, pry to remove the cover. At this point, use the screwdriver to remove the battery, then replace the battery. Finally, close the remote by pressing down with your hands to reinsert the remote cover, and then reinsert the emergency key into its designated slot.
