In today's article, you will learn how to replace the battery of the Cupra Formentor key when it runs out. For this operation, you will need a small flat-head screwdriver. First, extract the emergency key by pressing the designated button on the side of the remote. Once the emergency key is removed, insert the screwdriver into the key slot and lever it to lift the cover. Once the cover is lifted, you can reinsert the emergency key into its slot, then use the screwdriver to lever out the battery and replace it. Finally, close the remote by reinserting the plastic cover and pressing to secure the clips.
