Let's see how to replace the key battery of a Cupra Formentor. To do this, buy a CR2032 battery, which can be easily found in any electronics store or supermarket. Remove the emergency key by pressing the appropriate button on the key, then use a small flat screwdriver to lift the part with the Cupra logo (not the one with the buttons) and gently pry it off. Use a thin object to remove the old battery and insert the new one, ensuring the correct orientation. Refit the back cover until it clicks and reinsert the metal part of the key.
