In this video, we see a timing chain pushed to its limits on a Dacia Sandero Stepway: from the video, we hear the metallic noise of the chain that really gives the impression of breaking at any moment. Naturally, to perform this operation, you need to lift the vehicle, remove the right wheel and the wheel arch liner, and then remove the auxiliary belt.

Once the cover of the timing chain casing is removed, we see that it is excessively loose due to wear on the chain and guides; the tensioner is nearly out of its housing, and the front guide has even split in two, with the chain running metal on metal.

Not only that, but the two sprockets are damaged from the metal impact and need to be replaced: yet the car has only done 130,000 miles.

What causes such abnormal wear? Surely it is due to the low quality of the materials used in construction, and then a lack of maintenance by the user.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
