In this video we can see how to change the knob and the gear shift boot of a Dacia Duster. It is a rather quick but effective method: in this video the entire center console was removed before performing this operation, but it will not be necessary to be so radical. It will be enough to remove the frame that fixes the boot to the console, using a plastic spatula to lever it off. After that, as shown in the video, we will need to turn the knob a few times to find the point at which it releases, and then pull with force: in this way we will remove both the knob and the boot, leaving the shaft free.
