What to do if the cabin fan of the Dacia Sandero III is not working

Model: Dacia Sandero MK 3 - Years 2021-2026

In this video we can see how to behave if the cabin fan of the Dacia Sandero does not work at any of the 4 speeds. First, disconnect the battery, then check the fuse in the box located in the cabin: it is the green 40 Amp fuse marked with F4; remove it with tweezers and check if it is burnt or oxidized. In this case, we can clean it with fine sandpaper, or replace it. If the fuse is intact, check the ground; the black cable connected to the body near the fan, under the dashboard: clean the contact well and screw it back on; then we can test the fan relay (marked with HVAC) by temporarily replacing it with an identical one (like the headlight relay) to test if it is faulty. Another check: the fan motor. Disconnect the fan connector, located behind the instrument panel, and measure the resistance between the pins with a multimeter; if it only works at speed 4, the fault could be the electrical resistance, so just replace the module located in the fan compartment.
