To perform the reset operation, turn on the vehicle's instrument panel and press the arrow button to access the settings menu. Navigate through the various menu items using the arrow buttons and select "average fuel consumption" by pressing OK. To reset the average fuel consumption, hold down both buttons on the steering wheel. To complete the setup, return to the main menu and restart the instrument panel.
