How to Replace the Engine Air Filter in a Dacia Duster

To replace the engine air filter in a second-generation Dacia Duster, turn off the engine, let it cool, and open the bonnet. Locate the air filter box connected to the intake duct. If necessary, detach the air intake hose and remove any elements obstructing access to the airbox cover. Loosen the screws or clips holding it closed and carefully lift it. Remove the old filter from its seat and clean the inside of the housing. Insert the new filter in the same orientation as the previous one, ensuring it fits snugly along the entire edge. Reposition the cover, tighten the fasteners, and reconnect the hose if removed. Finally, check that the airbox is completely closed and all connections are secure.
