Removing the central console frame, which houses the climate control buttons, is very simple: as it is only clipped in, you just need to pull it out by hand around the area, releasing the clips. If you encounter difficulties, use a plastic wedge to assist. Once the frame is removed, disconnect the connectors and you're done. Similarly, reassembly is straightforward: first connect the connectors to the climate controls, placing them in the same way as you found them, then clip the frame back in, ensuring all clips are properly secured.
