How to Remove the Cigarette Lighter Panel on a Dacia Duster

The cigarette lighter device on the Dacia Duster is located on the central console of the dashboard, at the bottom, beneath the climate control buttons, integrated into a panel secured with snap-fit clips. To extract this panel, lever along the edges to release the clips, and it is advisable to use a plastic lever to avoid damaging the edges of the frame; an alternative is to apply masking tape to the tip of a screwdriver. Once the panel is released, disconnect the power connector of the cigarette lighter to complete the removal.
