Operation: How to remove the cigarette lighter panel of the Dacia Duster

The cigarette lighter device of the Dacia Duster is located on the center console of the dashboard, at the bottom, below the climate control controls, integrated in a panel fixed with interlocking elastic clips: To be able to extract this panel, you must pry along the contour to release the clips and it is advisable to use a plastic lever to avoid denting the edges of the frame; an alternative may be to apply paper tape to the tip of a screwdriver. Once the panel has been released, disconnect the cigarette lighter power plug to complete the disassembly.
