As shown in this tutorial, replacing the air filter in the Datsun on-DO is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is completely cool for safety, then open the hood and locate the airbox on the driver's side.

At this point, unscrew the 4 screws at the corners with a Phillips screwdriver, disconnect the upper sensor connector, and lift the cover of the box. Finally, remove the old filter, clean the housing thoroughly, and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
