Removal and Replacement of Control Arm

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Control arm

This video shows how to remove and replace the control arm on your car. When driving on bumpy roads or uneven surfaces and you hear a strange noise from the front of the car near the shock absorbers, it is likely that one or both control arms need replacing as the ball joints have worn out. In this case, raise the car on a ramp, remove the nut behind the brake disc that secures the control arm, and pull it out from its mounting point. Once extracted, to replace the end part including the ball joint, simply unscrew it counterclockwise and install a new one.
